Winter Storm Watches posted

Posted on February 7, 2010 By Mid Atlantic Weather No Comments on Winter Storm Watches posted

I will look into the new model runs this evening for a read on what we are about to see! I see frozen precipitation. I am just not sure how much yet. My first thoughts are for 4 to 8 inches with possibly more. I suspect a mixing of snow at some point with sleet and we have ice to worry about in the I – 95 corridor. This type of system is not a typical Mid Atlantic snow producer. That being said, this is nothing but a typical year for snow storms.

Winter Storm watches have been posted due to the impact on our region!

What an amazing year! 70 inches of snow so far in my back yard!

All for now!
