Heat and stickiness continue with Severe Threat

Posted on May 26, 2011May 26, 2011 By Mid Atlantic Weather No Comments on Heat and stickiness continue with Severe Threat

You would think it was summer! It will be in the upper 80s to around 90 today with a risk of storms, especially in the mountains and spilling eastward late today or tonight. The SPC has outlined areas west of I-95 for possible severe http://bit.ly/lmMceg . The biggest threats are hail and high winds, but there is a tornado threat as well. Please stay tuned to news and radio outlets and that may need to continue overnight and into tomorrow as well.

Temps are a bit cooler tomorrow with an increased chance of showers and storms, some of which could also be severe. Temps in the low and mid 80s tomorrow.

Hotter weekend and Memorial day! Highs will be mid and upper 80s Saturday with still a chance of a storm, and then 90 to possibly 95 Monday! Great pool weather! Of course, that much heat could cause a thunderstorm to pop, but chances are fairly low. This forecast holds for Tuesday as well and then Wednesday we have a better chance of showers and storms.

Sticky weather! I hate it! Good pool weather though!

All for now!
