Especially east of the mountains. A strong front,
moderate instability, and very strong winds aloft
will combine to produce showers and embedded
thunderstorms. Due to the strong dynamics involved and
shear available, isolated rotating “Super Cell”
thunderstorms are possible which could produce brief
tornadoes. The Severe weather will likely be
scattered.
The Front passage should set up a very breezy and
chilly weekend with highs struggling through the 50’s
in many places!
Stay tuned to media and weather outlets for
watches/warnings!
All for now!
