8/27 Katrina Update:
 
I STILL THINK WE WILL SEE AFFECTS OF THIS STORM!
 
I just want people to watch this system and not get caught up in the models per se (though I myself look at them a lot) until Katrina starts moving north. When she does, expect a potential shift in the track a bit if not quite a bit east of her current forecast. that being said, she has grown in size today and taken on cat 3 status. She can do a lot things now that make here even harder to predict. This could be a Category 5 blow to the gulf coast!
