6/6 Severe Weather Alert

Posted on June 6, 2005 By Mid Atlantic Weather No Comments on 6/6 Severe Weather Alert

6/6 Severe Weather Possible Today

The atmosphere will become very unstable today and this, in combination with a disturbance that will move through later today, should kick off scattered showers and thunderstorms, some of which will be severe. The biggest threat today will be high winds and heavy rains, but an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

Please stay tuned to radio and news outlets concerning watches and/or warnings. You can also get more information at http://www.midatlanticweather.com in the Severe Weather Center.
