Rain has been ongoing overnight and MAY end up a bit lighter than first thought for storm totals for many, but localized there is still the risk of up to 4″ of rain. We will see a lull in activity this morning and then more rain and heavy rain this afternoon. This afternoon also poses a risk for Severe Storms with the main threat of winds in the storms, though an isolated tornado is likely out of the system ( http://www.midatlanticweather.com/severe/severe.htm) . Again, total rainfall will cause flooding concerns and you should never drive through water covered roads!
Drier conditions and cooler temps expected tomorrow with highs in the 40s north and in the low and mid 50s south. Temps will rebound to the low 50s north to the Mid and upper 60s south Saturday, and lower 50s to mid 60s Sunday. Temps should then stay around 50 in the north to low 60s in the South through Tuesday. Weather looks dry for now, but do not be surprised to see some changes Tuesday if some models come true.
All for now
