It is a very humid morning for many with fog in the wake of yesterday’s downpours. We are all going to see the 80s today, even upper 80s in the southern half of VA and in NC. Pop up showers and storms will be possible and an isolated severe storm is also possible. The Severe threat is a little higher in PA than in MD and VA or NC today. Storms are more likely North VA, DC, MD, and especially in PA than in southern VA or NC.
Tomorrow will be almost a repeat, but a slightly higher chance of a storm.
Wednesday will see highs continue in the 80s and again the chance of storms. That chance will increase in the evening and overnight and some storms in the west may be severe.
Widespread showers and storms will be possible Thursday, but these will be ending west to east as the front moves through. As of now, west of I-95 should clear by noon and east by later in the day. Severe storms will be a possibility as the front is rather strong. Cooler air in the 70s will follow.
Friday and Saturday look nice and in the 70s south and upper 60s north. May be the first all dry Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we have seen in a while!
All for now!
