Concern growing about a period of Snow/Sleet/Ice Monday Night

Posted on January 15, 2011January 15, 2011 By Mid Atlantic Weather No Comments on Concern growing about a period of Snow/Sleet/Ice Monday Night

Support is starting to show that an icing threat will occur on Monday night. A high to the north and northeast of the region will supply enough cold air through a Cold Air Damming situation that could result in a mixture of snow and sleet and freezing rain before rain becomes the precipitation type on Tuesday.

There is a threat of another snow system next weekend.

All for now!
