A system will cross the region today and bring rain. The rain will move across from southwest and shifting Northeast east starting this afternoon. Precipitation amounts appear to be in the .75 to 1.00 ” range along the immediate Piedmont and .5 to as much as .75 elsewhere. Temps will be in the upper 40s north to as high as 60 in the south. Temps will become milder tomorrow with highs reaching the 60 to 70 degree mark and rain should taper off by afternoon. Sunny with temps low 60s north to low 70s south Thursday, and then sunny with temps mid 70s to low 80s Friday! Things will cool some this weekend, but we still look to have highs in the lower 60s north to lower 70s south! Spring has sprung!
