Windy day signifies colder air|Freeze & Frost | Cooler but still above normal

Posted on March 26, 2012March 26, 2012 By Mid Atlantic Weather No Comments on Windy day signifies colder air|Freeze & Frost | Cooler but still above normal

Temps will likely peak this AM across the North and then fall under gusty winds. Temps will struggle to the he low and mid 60s north, but manage the 70 to 75 degree mark south.

A cold night will bring Frost and Freeze concerns to the mountains and valleys and even lower elevations of Northern VA, MD, PA, NJ. Temps in PA and some valley and mountains could hit the 20s and low 30s elsewhere in these regions. 30s elsewhere with low 40s south. Tomorrow will be the first seasonable day in weeks with highs in the 50s for the most part – closer to 50 north and upper 50s south.

We bounce back strongly Wednesday with highs soaring again to the 70s, to close to 80 south. A fairly strong front will cross the region Wednesday with the threat of severe possible based on some dynamics that will have to be watched. This will front will bring slightly cooler air again but temps will remain 5 to 10 degrees above normal.

Dry conditions after Wednesday may last through next Monday. Then we have something odd to watch Early next week – there could be a New England inland snow and a cold few days to content with.

All for now.
