All chances of snow that seemed to be on the models have gone away.. I will watch, but doubted their likelihood.
The weather for this week looks seasonal, and even heads above normal for those not still under a blanket of snow by the weekend. A front crosses tomorrow and tomorrow night. IT IS POSSIBLE that just enough moisture is around when it turns colder for some snow to mix in. ALSO, NC and SW VA should stay a bit alert for possible light freezing rain Thursday.
Otherwise, we wait to see what evolves. As of now no real added wintry threats are appearing in the longer term. It does look like colder air could return the second week of February.
