The nice stretch of weather will continue today with highs reaching into the 70’s for the most part with some 60’s in the mountains and 80s in the far southern parts of the Mid-Atlantic. The next chance of precipitation will be Friday with a front that will come through. This front does not look to be too wet, but there could be enough dynamics for some isolated severe weather to occur. The Storms Prediction Center has outlined the parts of the mid-Atlantic in a marginal risk for severe weather. After this front clears a little cool shot will hit us on Saturday with highs mainly in the 60s and lower 70’s but rebounding into the upper 60s and 70s for Sunday. As of now the mid-month cold shot looks a little less likely although models struggle on details this far out.
Look for a Winter Weather Outlooks page to show up soon! Will include links to different sites and what they are sharing for winter. My outlook will be mid to late month!
All for now!
